Greetings! My name is Chris Rockhold and I live in Vancouver, Washington, USA. I am 36 years old, and my primary occupation is pilot for Empire Airlines. I enjoy writing and producing this comic in my spare time. I have a passion for many activities that people would relate to Japan. Japanese food (I love sushi, sashimi, and teriyaki), anime, origami, manga, etc. I started learning to draw in the anime style in 2002, and have been hooked on all things anime ever since. In addition to writing and drawing, I love spending time with my wife, Shelly, and my son, Tristen. 

   Gnat's Wing began as a webcomic that I wanted to read, but couldn't find anywhere. I figured since no one was writing what I wanted to read, I'd write it myself. Then I discovered that there were other people who had the same taste in stories as I did! If it were not for the adoring fans from early in GW's development, I doubt that I would still be writing it today.
