Gnat's father died during a pirate raid on the Princess when Gnat was fourteen. Her father had taught her so much of the ships operations, Gnat managed to patch the ship together enough to limp to a nearby space dock. Gnat worked various freighters, and eventually saved enough money to purchase her own cargo ship, the Gnat's Wing. |
